Well, after a successful shopping trip to Brent Cross and Asda, I was leisurely driving home when all of a sudden I shat myself (figuratively speaking)

One of the funniest news reports to hit Youtube has to be of Antoine Dodson (and his auto-tuned song), and this hallowe’en saw an array of Dodson costumes… But none are as funny as this poor pooch…

I’m fed up of preachy people claiming that video games like GTA are overly violent and that other games are purely innocent… Mario kills creatures, and I have proof that even Tetris is evil!

Since I moved to a house with no outdoor house pipe (grr) – I seem to have neglected the cleanliness of my car… I daren’t take it to a car wash with all those rags whipping it and damaging the paint and as a result the dirt and dust on it is getting bad…

But nothing prepared me for the whole new level or dirtiness I would see on my windscreen yesterday, thanks to my lesbionic housemate…

It’s funny how music tastes change in so little time… When I first moved to London for uni back in 2008, all I would listen to was Muse and every indie band that hit the radio/iTunes…

Now look at me, working for the only true urban radio station in London – the 2008 me would be ashamed… But you know what? I love it!

I haven’t been interested properly in RnB/urban since I started high school, but the genre’s progressed and so have I.

Current favourite tune is Far East Movement’s Like A G6 –…

I can’t say I agree with the whole ‘naughty step’ style parenting, but it’s a damn sight better than the abuse this poor child gets from his mormon mother… I’m so thankful for my upbringing right now…

Don’t get me wrong, as much as I’m a fan of DAB (I have two in the house) Radio, I am against the switchover for one reason (which I’m sure is shared among many) – my car only has an FM radio. I read somewhere the other day that when the switchover happens, 80% or car radios will cease to work. Now, with FM still being standard on all cars and DAB being an optional extra (my car is 7 months old and I didn’t get the option for DAB), I think it’s ridiculous to start a switchover within five…

There isn’t a bigger news story in the media biz this week than the expansion of Capital FM.

For the non-radio folk among you, the simple version of the story is this – several local stations are being rebranded to Capital FM as of 3rd January 2011. These stations are Galaxy (in Yorkshire, Manchester, the North East, Scotland, Birmingham & the South Coast), Red Dragon (Cardiff), RAM FM (Derby), Trent FM (Nottingham) and Leicester Sound.
